"Diving" is the third single from Bridgit Mendler's upcoming studio album. It features RKCB and was released on August 25, 2017.
Background[]
On July 17, 2017, Bridgit replied a tweet from a fan asking when will be more music, to which she replied that it will be the next month (August).[1] On July 30, Bridgit tweeted the official song title: "I am so excited for you guys to hear my new song, 'Diving'. Was just looking at a snippet of the video and I'm inspired 😻✨😻✨".[2]
On August 9, 2017, Bridgit posted on Instagram a puzzle of the lyrics of the first verse of "Diving".[3] On August 21, Mendler revealed the release date for the song being on August 25, 2017 with a teaser of the music video.

- The release date of "Diving" (August 25, 2017) is the 1st Anniversary of her single "Atlantis" featuring Kaiydo from her second extended play, Nemesis.
- Many fans notices that "Diving" may be a second part of "Atlantis" or something similar, since both have to do with water and released on August 25.
